Mold found at her young child's school motivated the testing of her own house, as well as many of her friends' homes. The results were both confusing and alarming, launching Courtney deep into the newest research on mold and air quality. It was there she found the Pure Maintenance protocol.

Being an analytical person with a background in medical research and quality assurance, Courtney was skeptical of the technology, so she gathered data from both independent studies and first-hand experience from customers and other licensees.
